Our Commitment to Community

At Neat Uniforms, we are grateful to have the opportunity to outfit Canadians with school, workplace, and spirit & team uniforms. For over sixty years, we have taken pride paying it forward. Both professionally and personally, community service is “who we are”.

We are a people-first, values-based company and hold each other accountable, every day, to living our six core values. These values were built upon years of research and experience learning what is most important to our customers, suppliers, employees and communities we operate in.

Some of the ways we support the communities we operate, with an enhanced focus on advancing the interests of women and children include:

Uniform Assistance Program

We believe that uniforms have the power to eliminate social barriers. Students in schools officially outfitted by Neat Uniforms have equal access to school uniforms through our voucher program. Each school we work with, receives a set of vouchers to distribute to families in need Our team pioneered this program, which provides uniform vouchers to school administrators, is a first of its kind in the world!

Youth Jobs Program

We believe youth need better access to professional development opportunities. We invite over 20 youth annually to join the Neat Uniforms team in a variety of roles. We provide training and on-the-job experience to equip youth with the skills and experiences required to succeed in the dynamic global workforce.

Inclusive Apparel

We believe in inclusiveness. Our tradition is to ensure that individuals with special needs will have the ability to receive free customization of their uniform garments to meet size, fit or comfort needs.

Community Giving

We believe we have a role to play in expanding our mission to create community through uniforms globally, dedicated to helping children, families, and their communities overcome poverty and injustice. We have donated thousands of uniforms to impoverished communities on the Vancouver East side, Philippines, Haiti and Sri Lanka.
